Last week, VASCERN held it’s first live webinar on Thursday May 14, 2020 on the topic of Heritable Thoracic Aortic Diseases (HTAD) and Covid-19.
The recording of the webinar is now available to watch again (or for the first time) here

This webinar featured a brief introduction on COVID-19 and the cardiovascular system, followed by a Q&A session where questions from the patient community, collected by VASCERN’s HTAD European Patient Advocate Group (ePAG) advocates, were asked and answered.
The panel of speakers included the following members of the HTAD Working Group: Elena De Moya Rubio (ePAG Co-Chair for HTAD), Françoise Steinbach (ePAG Deputy Co-Chair for HTAD), Prof. Julie De Backer (HTAD WG Chair) and Prof. Guillaume Jondeau (HTAD WG Co-Chair).
Over 20 participants from many countries connected to the live event, including France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Portugal and the U.K. We thank everyone who registered and attended this first webinar as well as our excellent panel of speakers who hopefully answered all of your questions!
You can equally find this recording on our website’s Webinars and Pills of Knowledge videos page, under the HTAD tab, and don’t forget to take a look at all of the other educational videos from all five of VASCERN’s Rare Disease Working Groups.
