Great picture of our VASCERN ePAG Chair (and MSA-WG Co-Chair), Jeurgen Grunert, and ePAG deputy Co-Chair for MSA-WG, Charissa Frank, at the #ReCONNET meeting this weekend! :) Juergen and Charissa are members of two ERNs: VASCERN and ReCONNET, as the 14 types of Ehler's Danlos syndromes (EDS) are divided between our two networks! :) VASCERN handles vascular EDS (#vEDS), a rare subtype of EDS that can lead to severe arterial, digestive and uterine complications, while ReConnet covers all of the other EDS subtypes.
