Did you know that May is Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) Awareness Month? ?♀?♂VASCERN, and the Medium-Sized Arteries Working Group (MSA-WG) in particular, cover one of the subtypes of EDS called vascular EDS (vEDS). Vascular EDS patients may present with the characteristic facial features, translucent skin, and easy bruising that is seen in other forms of EDS, but in addition may also suffer from arterial, intestinal or uterine fragility or rupture.
